Renew your F‑Secure subscription

Stay safe online and renew your subscription in a few easy steps.

If you have a My F‑Secure account

If you have F‑Secure Total, Internet Security (previously SAFE), VPN (previously FREEDOME VPN) or ID Protection, your subscription is managed via My F‑Secure. Log in to your My F‑Secure account and click Renew now to continue your subscription.

If you don’t have a My F‑Secure account

If you have F‑Secure FREEDOME VPN, Internet Security or Anti‑Virus in use, choose your product and follow the instructions to renew.

This is dependent on the product and device you are using. The easiest way is to find the product icon or product on your device and hover over it with the mouse icon. We have compiled a step-by-step guide that you can follow.

If you want to buy after your free trial, you need to log in to My F‑Secure and click Buy now in the top-right corner.

Choose your product and the platform you want to install on below, then follow the instructions:

If you have forgotten your pass­word to My F‑Secure, you can click Forgot my pass­word on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your pass­word.

If you have forgotten which email address you used for My F‑Secure, as well as your pass­word, you need to contact our support for help.

Log in to My F‑Secure and go to Account settings in the dropdown menu where your name is. Type in your new email address in the field where it says Your F‑Secure email address and click Save changes.

If you have opted to renew your subscription manually, you need to first renew your existing subscription with the same number of licenses. After renewing your subscription, you can click on the Buy more button in My F‑Secure to increase the number of devices.

If you have an automatically renewing subscription, log in to My F‑Secure and click on the Buy more button to increase the number of devices.

If you are unsure of what renewal type you have, you can find that information by logging in to My F‑Secure, clicking the Subscription button and looking for Renewal.

If you have an automatically renewing subscription, you can cancel your subscription by logging in to My F‑Secure and clicking the Subscription button. Under the Manage your subscription, select I want to cancel auto-renewal and click on Cancel your subscription. This will cancel any upcoming renewals.

If you have opted to renew your subscription manually, the subscription will be automatically cancelled if you do not manually initiate the renewal before the expiry date.

If you are unsure of what renewal type you have, you can find that information by logging in to My F‑Secure, clicking the Subscription button and looking for Renewal.

If your Internet Security or Anti-Virus has expired, you now have a great opportunity to improve your protection by upgrading to F‑Secure Total with a special introductory price.

The legacy version of Internet Security (purchased before February 14, 2023) is no longer for sale, and existing users can upgrade to Total (see above). However, if you purchased Internet Security after February 14, 2023, you can renew your subscription by logging in to your My F‑Secure account.
