Summary

Seacat is a very badly written virus full of bugs.

When an infected file is executed, the virus will infect the first COM file in the current directory. Virus will not check whether the file is already infected, so it will infect the same file over and over again. The virus will sometimes corrupt the infected file so that it can not be repaired. There is a text string inside the virus which says 'SeaCat'.

Virus will not preserve file attributes or the time and date stamp.
