Technical Details

WordMacro/Polite is a simple macro virus which asks user every time whether it should infect files or not. When files are saved, the virus displays a question:

Shall I infect the file ?

When files are closed, Polite displays a dialog like this:

Activization I am alive! OK

Otherwise the virus just replicates.

Polite is not common, but the Trend antivirus from Taiwan (also resold as Intel Lanprotect and PC-Cillin) has had several false alarms with it.
