The Experimental virus was found in Spain in December 1994. It's a fast infector of COM and EXE files, infecting files when they are accessed or executed.

Experimental is a full stealth virus; the changes it makes to programs are not visible as long as the virus is resident. The resident part of the virus occupies approximately 1784 bytes of memory. Infected files grow by 1617 bytes.

Experimental activates on the 24th of Janyary on any year. At this time it overwrites the start of hard disk and displays the text "Experimental v".
