Summary

This is a boot sector virus, which infects the DOS boot sector on hard drives (instead of the usual MBR). It stays resident in low system memory in the interrupt table. Virus contains several bugs and may often crash the machine. The virus also reinfects floppies every time they are accessed.Bug has no activation routines, it just spreads. Virus uses hex value 070A as an infection marker and as a backdoor to original INT 13h, hence the reference to 70 in some alias names for this virus.Bug has been reported to be in the wild in Norway and Finland during 1996.
