Backdoor:Android/Dendroid.A is a utility program created for use by malware authors to automate production of malware. The toolkit reportedly allows its users to specify the features they want the malware product to have, including such actions as intercepting SMS messages, recording video and audio input, running an app and calling a phone number.

The toolkit also reportedly includes anti-emulation code intended to help keep the malware it produces from being flagged by the Bouncer security system used by Google Play Store to screen apps for malicious behavior. For more information, see:
