Summary

There are no viruses known by this name. However, in fall 1997 several worms spreading in IRC (internet relay chat) were found.

All of these worms needed the users to be running a specific Windows-based client called mIRC with specific settings turned off. This is not a widespread problem and only affects a subset of IRC users. Non-IRC users are not affected at all.
