F‑Secure Earns AV-Comparatives Fake-Shops Detection Certification for Second Straight Year

HELSINKI (November 6, 2025) — F‑Secure Internet Security has earned AV-Comparatives' Fake-Shops Detection Certification for the second consecutive year. The certification validates F‑Secure's effectiveness in identifying fraudulent online shops, protecting users from financial scams and data theft amid rising e-commerce fraud.

AV-Comparatives tested F‑Secure against 500 active fake-shop URLs and 100 legitimate sites in October 2025. To certify, products must detect at least 80% of fakes with zero false alarms—a threshold F‑Secure Internet Security surpassed, leveraging precise URL analysis and pattern recognition to neutralize threats like domain spoofing and phishing.
