The Sober.V worm was found on November 15th, 2005. This Sober variant is similar to Sober.T, that appeared yesterday:
Like the previous variants, this one sends itself inside a ZIP archive as an attachment in e-mail messages with English or German texts. We also received several different droppers for this worm variant. They were apparently created by the worm author manually. They are all detected as 'Sober.v'.
Depending on the settings of your F-Secure security product, it will either automatically delete, quarantine or rename the suspect file, or ask you for a desired action.
