Bubbles was written by the Youngsters Against McAfee (YAM) group with the help of IVP generator. The virus contains the following texts:
Bubbles Virus Admiral Bailey [IVP]
Sometimes the virus displays one of the above text strings.IVP doesn't contain as many features as the VCL or PS-MPC virus toolkits. For example, there is no option for creating memory-resident viruses. Also the encryption algorithms are fairly simple compared to e.g. PS-MPC. IVP often produces buggy code. There are so far two known versions of IVP, versions 1.0 and 1.7. According to an announcement by YAM, IVP 2.0 will challenge all existing virus writing toolkits.
