Alphabet virus was first found Finland during the spring 1995. It is a simple COM file infector, which does not stay resident in memory.
The virus is encrypted and contains the following message:
[Alphabetic.A] (c)Alpha 1994.
Its size is 447 bytes. It contains programming errors which causes it sometimes to infect same files multiple times.
Depending on the settings of your F-Secure security product, it will either automatically delete, quarantine or rename the suspect file, or ask you for a desired action.
