Trojan.Java.Agent.I is a trojan-dropper written in Java. On execution, the malware drops and runs an executable file.
Disinfection & Removal
Manual Removal
- Restart the system in Safe Mode.
- Delete all files from the default temp folder.
- Delete the following Registry entry:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{F4C1E312-9D6A-7ED3-E25E-E8C403C69C4C}
- Delete the JAR file containing the Java class file that was detected by the security program.
- Reboot the system into Normal mode.
- Finally, run a full computer scan with F-Secure Anti-Virus to repair any remaining files.
Technical Details
Once installed, Trojan.Java.Agent.I will attempt to download additional files from remote sites.
