This is a simple non-resident infector of COM files. It beeps, displays the following texts and prompts for an answer every time an infected program is executed:

     Bravo,vous ˆtes la nouvelle victime du SCOTCH' virus!
     Donner un nombre entre 0 et 8 pour ex‚cuter le programme demand‚:
     D‚sol‚,j'avais choisi le nombre 6  ...

Thus, this virus is likely not to spread very far. It was reported to be in the wild in Paris in November 1995.
