It has come to our attention that F-Secure Anti-Virus generated a false alarm on FraudTool.Win32.SysKontroller.c. The detection was generated on the file MFC71.DLL which is part of Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Once detected, the F-Secure security product will automatically disinfect the suspect file by either deleting it or renaming it.
The detection FraudTool.Win32.SysKontroller.c is of a Microsoft Foundation Class file with the file name MFC71.DLL.The following Software or Applications are reported as affected by this false alarm:
- Roxio CD Creator
- Dragon Naturally Speaking
- Google Desktop Search
- Eudora 188.8.131.52 (dates back to 2006)
- Oracle database connection
- AVM bluetooth software
- Password safe
- Nokia Lifeblog
