Hantaner is a prepending virus. There exist packed and non-packed variants of Hantaner. The virus infects files in Kazaa P2P (peer-to-peer) client shared folder.

Additional Details

Hantaner writes itself in front of executable files in that folder (prepending infection). When someone downloads and runs a file from an infected computer, he/she also becomes infected with the virus.
