Spyware:Android/Flexispy.K is the Android version of a commercial spyware program already available on various other mobile platforms (Symbian,WinCE andiOS).
Installation
On installation, the program does not display an icon in the Applications menu. The program is only visible under the 'Manage Applications' menu under Settings, but in that location uses the name 'Mobile backup' or 'Sync Manager', with a generic icon.
Activity
When active, this program tracks the following details:
- Phone calls
- SMS messages
- Internet activity
- GPS location
The program uses services run in the background to perform these activities.
