This is not a detection of Softomate development tools, but rather a detection of a Data Mining Toolbar created using Softomate's software.

Softomate (BestToolbars.net) offers development tools/source code that are used to create customized toolbars.

Softomate LLC is often unfairly credited for creating Adware/Spyware toolbars, but they are only a development tool supplier.

Softomate ToolbarStudio/sources are often used to produce legitimate toolbars, such as BibleToolbar, but in many cases, Softomate LLC customers update the code with features such as: Browser HiJacking, Advertisement Pop-Ups, and Data Mining.
