About Health Check
F-Secure Health Check is a free application that tells you if your computer is protected and helps you fix possible security issues. It is an online application that is not installed on your computer. In a few minutes, you find out:

Is your firewall, antivirus, and anti-spyware software on and up to date? |

Are your photographs, text documents, and other irreplaceable files automatically backed up? |

Are there security updates available for the most widely used programs on your computer (such as the operating system, web browsers, and media players)? |

On the summary page, we give you a report on the health of your computer, as well as recommendations for improving its protection. |
What's new in this version
- Additional platform and browser support, ie. Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 8, Windows 7
- Check for automatic backup service
- Renewed user interface with results divided into 4 areas
- Vulnerability check focusing only on software that is most critical from security perspective
- Java applet based launch point which replaces ActiveX and Firefox plugin.
Supported operating systems

*The system must fulfill the minimum requirements as specified by Microsoft.
Supported web browsers
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0.

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.
- Mozilla Firefox 3.5.
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0.
JavaScript needs to be enabled, and you need to have at least Version 6 Update 10 of Java Runtime Environment installed.
Note: If JavaScript was disabled for security reasons, please remember to restore your original settings after scanning.
