Technical Details

Trojan:Android/Cynos is a component embedded in repackaged versions of various adult content applications that silently collects information from the device, such as its International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number and International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) number. It also has the capacity to collect phone numbers. These details are forwarded to a remote server.

The name Cynos is a reference to the name of the SDK, 'cynosSDK'.
