Technical Details

Command is an adware that displays pop-up advertisements. Pop-ups are branded both in the title bar, and with an image inside the pop-up. Command can be installed without a user's consent or interaction (silently installed).

To prevent detection and manual removal, the software installs into hidden folders with random names. The software is run as a service.

Mirror Image Internet web servers are contacted by Command to check for updates and while browsing the web. The obtained encrypted information is sent back and forth and most likely contains information about visited websites, in order to deliver targeted advertisement.

The program connects to the same server as Instafinder.
