Helping Organisations become Cyber Essentials Certified with F-Secure

What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed scheme operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that will help you to protect your organisation against the most common cyber-attacks.

It was developed in collaboration with industry partners, including the Information Security Forum (ISF), the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (IASME) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Why should you become certified?

  • To reassure your customers you’re doing what you can to protect your organisation from a cyber-attack
  • You have a better understanding of your cyber security attack landscape

Cyber Essentials will cover the following areas:

Cyber Essentials specify the requirements under five technical control themes:

  1.  Firewalls
  2. Secure configuration
  3. User access control
  4. Malware protection
  5. Patch management

To become certified, you must ensure that your organisation meets all the above requirements as a minimum.

How can F-Secure help you with the certification?

F-Secure is the largest cyber security company in Europe and provides solutions that meet Cyber Essentials requirements.
