He’ll trace the seismic shift in security models from traditional computer operating systems to mobile operating systems. And he’ll answer the question, where are we headed next?
  • An Insider’s Guide to Android Malware – Laura Kankaala Laura Kankaala, an ethical hacker and security consultant, is an expert on Android malware and stalkerware. In this session, Laura will provide a hacker’s perspective on the development and use of mobile malware.
  • The Mobile Threat Landscape – Christine Bejerasco What are the biggest mobile threats today? How do we identify these threats? From typical malware to stalkerware, Christine Bejerasco the newly appointed Chief Technology Officer will disclose the biggest trends in the mobile threat landscape, with special focus on the Android platform. Mobile device users will come away with expert advice on how to spot attacks and guard against them.

As a white hat hacker, Laura uses her highly-developed understanding of cyber security – particularly cloud security – to help organizations protect themselves. She also enjoys educating the public on stalkerware, digital privacy, and other security issues, and recently participated in “Team Whack” – a TV series documenting how hackers can infiltrate people’s lives.

Christine Bejerasco is the Chief Technical Officer of F-Secure. Before that, she led the team that researches the latest threats and runs the defense services, creating rules and detections that power F-Secure’s security products.
