F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange, version 6.62
We are happy to announce a new version of F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange.
This release solves the compatibility problems with F-Secure Policy Manager version 7.00 and F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange installed on the same server.
New features in the 6.6x versions:
- Significantly improved virus detection speed with Virus Outbreak Detection & Response
- Dramatically improved spam filtering with unparallel accuracy
- Improved and Easy-to-use quarantine management
- Stability and performance improvements
- Optional add-on feature: F-Secure® Spam Control™
F-Secure® Spam Control™ filters annoying spam messages from the user's inbox transparently and frees time for productive work. F-Secure Spam Control engine detects spam based on different analyses of the email content and includes multiple filter mechanisms for high accuracy detection. The Spam Control feature can be separately purchased from your F-Secure reseller.

Operating System Requirements
The product can be installed on any of the following platforms:
- Microsoft® Windows 2000 Server with the latest service pack
- Microsoft® Windows 2000 Advanced Server with the latest service pack
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with the latest service pack
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with the latest service pack
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 R2, Enterprise Edition
Microsoft Exchange Server Requirements
The product can be installed on any of the following Microsoft Exchange Server versions:
- Microsoft® Exchange Server 2000 with Service Pack 3 or later
- Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003
SQL Server Requirements
The product requires Microsoft® SQL Server for the quarantine management. The following versions of Microsoft SQL Server are recommended to use:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (Enterprise, Standard or Workgroup edition) with Service Pack 4
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) with Service Pack 4
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Enterprise, Standard, Workgroup or Express edition)
MSDE is distributed with the product and can be installed during F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange Setup.
