Summary

First reported in April '90, this virus only contains one unusual feature - at the beginning of the virus a variable number of NOP instructions (0-15) are added. The virus then appends 909 bytes containing the virus code.

VP will not spread, if the OEM field in the bootsector of the drive has the string "VP".

VP was reported to be in the wild in Sweden in November 1995.
