This virus appears to have been written by a technically proficient, but
sloppy author, as there are several mistakes in the code, including one
which prevents it from working under any version of DOS other than 3.3
LoveChild only infects COM files, overwriting the first 4 bytes and
adding 488 bytes to the end. When the virus is active, it may delete
files being executed. It may also overwrite the beginning of EXE files
with a Trojan which will format the hard disk if it is executed.
