Summary

Flooder (generic description)

A flooder is a trojan that allows an attacker to send massive amount of data to a specific target. Usually flooders are used in IRC channels to jam communications as sending a massive amount of data to a channel or to a selected user disrupts normal communication. However, most of contemporary IRC clients and channel bots have flood detection algorithms and they stop flooding.

Most famous flooders: ICQBomber, KillZone, CriminalMSN, IRCKill.
