F-Secure Virus Descriptions : Dalian

Dalian stays resident in memory and infects EXE files when they are listed with the DIR command.

Dalian contains this text:

        Gene_1991_in DUT (Dalian China)

It randomly displays 'Gene !' on screen. Otherwise the virus just spreads.

This virus was distributed on a game CD produced in China in July 1997.
