NAME:	Chance
ALIAS:	Lennon, 60_boots
TYPE:	Resident Boot sectors

This is a simple boot sector virus. Note that unlike most other boot viruses, Chance infects the DOS boot record (not the MBR) on the hard drive.

Chance activates on the anniversary of John Lennon's death (December 8th), plays a part of the Lennon-McCartney song 'Give Peace a Chance' and displays this text:

     All we are saying is give peace a chance (J. Lennon)

Chance was reported in the wild in USA and Canada in December 1995.
