About Toolbars

Toolbars can be very useful and improve a user's browsing experience; but because they involve third-party, potentially unverified code interacting with the web browser program, they may also introduce risks that were not present in the standalone browser.

The Type designation 'Toolbar' was previously used by F-Secure to identify a type of web browser plug-in used to provide additional functionality.
