Standard Support and Maintenance Services
Standard support and maintenance services are designed for small and medium-sized companies and home users. The services contain both technical support and software upgrades. They are available for all F-Secure products.
Description of the Standard Services
Online Support Center:
F-Secure's Online Support Center offers you a comprehensive
collection of technical documents, that provide you with solutions for
problem-based questions, most common installation problems and virus removal
instructions for common viruses.
E-mail, Phone and Fax Support:
You can reach our
experienced technical support staff via email, phone and fax - which ever is the
easiest way for you.
Virus Definition Database Updates:
Every day several new
viruses are found. To make sure you have the best possible protection against
all kind of viruses, F-Secure typically updates virus definition databases once
a day.*
Software Upgrades:
New product releases are available for
you to download on the F-Secure Web Club. If you prefer to receive the updates
on CD-ROMs, you can order them for a separate fee by mailing to your local
support provider or directly from F-Secure.
Hot Fixes:
Hot fixes or patches fix problems that appear
in a limited set of environments or configurations. They are made available on
the F-Secure Support Center.
