New partition not seen by F-Secure backup client
Summary
This article describes the following issue in F-Secure Online Backup and F-Secure Online Backup for Consumers: a drive letter change or a new added partition/drive in your computer is not seen by the backup client.
Problem description
When you rename or add a new partition/drive to your computer, the F-Secure backup client will not always see it automatically.
Solution
To resolve the issue, you need to restart your computer after adding a new partition/drive to your computer. After restarting, the F-Secure backup client will start monitoring the new drives.
