KPN starts delivering F-Secure's data security services

As part of an overall data security services partnership between KPN and F-Secure Corporation, KPN's ISP Planet Internet will offer its broadband customers F-Secure's data security services in the Netherlands. The security solution includes antivirus, antispyware, firewall, parental control and antispam components. As of November 1, 2006 Planet Internet can now offer a complete, award-winning security solution that protects their customers' computers day and night against viruses, external attacks, harmful content and spam. The broadband household penetration rate in the Netherlands is the highest in Europe and the country ranks 6th in size on the European security market.

F-Secure's unique service platforms respond to changing buying behaviour in which security is bought preferably as a service. F-Secure has presently 125 Internet Service provider partners in 33 different countries. F-Secure's market share in the European Internet Service Provider broadband market is now at 36% while in Europe and North America its share is totally 25%.
