F-Secure Internet Security 2006 arrives on the shelves this month to deliver a highly automated package of well-integrated antiviral tools and advanced features to protect families against the evolving dangers of the Internet. These modern-day threats include spyware, adware, spam, invisible rootkit worms, inappropriate content and phishing. Also launched today is its streamlined sister product, F-Secure Anti-Virus 2006.

Since the release of F-Secure Anti-Virus Client Security 6.0 and F-Secure Policy Manager 6.0. the feedback has been extremely positive. For corporate businesses intent on keeping their critical systems running, using advanced AV software of the caliber of F-Secure Client Security 6.0 is essential in the daily struggle against worms, viruses, Trojans and spyware.

F-Secure will launch during Q3 2005 two new mobile products to protect smartphones against mobile threats namely: F-Secure Mobile Security and F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Mobile. Both contain sophisticated features that allow complete device protection without sacrificing device performance or usability.

F-Secure crosses the line from software to hardware this autumn with the provision of its Messaging Security Gateway appliance - the industry's most complete and effective security solution for e-mail combining a robust, enterprise-class messaging platform with perimeter security, antispam, antivirus, secure messaging and outbound content security capabilities.

For F-Secure, the concept of offering security as a service is not a new one. No software company worth its salt could claim to sell its software alone and let their customers struggle on after the deal has been done. This holds particularly true for the antivirus business where constant vigilance and support against the ever-present threats of viruses, worms, Trojans and spyware is the only way to ensure the long term satisfaction of our customers and the quality of the products we offer. A good antivirus product without the full back-up of service provision 24/7 is not a product that will succeed over time.
