F-Secure has joined forces with WildBlue Communications in Denver, Colorado to enable all new WildBlue customers access to free antivirus software. Traditionally F-Secure Internet Service Provider partners offer services via broadband but WildBlue provides high-speed Internet access via satellite to homes and small businesses in communities in the continental U.S.
The Denver-based company will now be offering free F-Secure antivirus software for one year for one PC to all new WildBlue customers thus ensuring a safe and regulated Internet surfing experience. The software valued at 40 USD to existing subscribers will protect new subscribers computers from known viruses and is regularly updated to keep it that way.
WildBlue are confident of the success of the offering; under WildBlues satisfaction guarantee, new WildBlue customers that are not fully satisfied with the service will be eligible for a refund of the cost of the WildBlue equipment and the first monthly service fee during the first 30 days of service.
