F-Secure has partners in over 50 countries all over the world, and they bring in a major part of the company’s total revenue. In the spring of 2003, we launched a new comprehensive Sales Partner Program to boost cooperation with our current partners, increase their sales productivity, maximize revenues and make it easier to recruit new partners. The new program is targeted at both distributors and resellers, and consists of three different certification levels; Distributors, Silver Partners and Gold Partners.

The main objectives of this new program are to provide the sales channel with the tools required to actively sell and promote F-Secure Anti-Virus products and solutions to the market. For the partners, the results of a thriving program translate into new sales opportunities, additional revenue streams and greater profits.

“Implementing the cooperation with our partners through this new program is directly beneficial to our end customers as well,” says Trond Neergaard, Channel Development Director at F-Secure. “Offering the best knowledge and services to our distributors helps them to provide ever better tools to the resellers. In the end this leads to happy customers. The whole procedure is essential for building a well-functioning business, and after all, our partners represent us,” he continues.

All F-Secure partners are well trained and certified to best serve the customers. Only after receiving a certification are they entitled to use the F-Secure brand. This ensures that they can offer correct knowledge and support to the end users when they are buying, installing or using any of F-Secure’s products.

“We support our partners 24/7 and constantly monitor our services to maintain high quality and short reaction times,” Neergaard comments. “As our partners are out in the market field, they also give us the most valuable feedback to help us improve our strategies. You can never beat the drum too much concerning the importance of this cooperation, as they are the key to successful business,” he adds.
