 The vast majority of new destructive viruses and other malicious code spread via e-mail or web browsing. If a virus is found while employees browse the Internet or receive and send e-mail, the infected files can be automatically deleted, quarantined or disinfected before they are allowed to pass through to the network. F-Secure Internet Gatekeeper also allows administrators to scan web and e-mail content, optimize network performance and business productivity by securely blocking unwanted file types and oversized files. The product is installed independently of firewalls and e-mail systems, and it also works independently, scanning files transparently and automatically as they pass through.
Managing and installing the product is fast and easy. The product can be managed either locally or remotely with F-Secure's centralized management system F-Secure Policy Manager.
