Data Fellow's Name Changes to F-Secure Corporation

Espoo, Finland, December 16, 1999 - Data Fellows [HEX: FSC], a leading provider of centrally managed, widely distributed security solutions, today announced that its shareholders have approved the proposal to officially change the public name from Data Fellows Corporation to F-Secure Corporation. The shareholders also approved the appointment of Kaj-Erik Relander (M.B) of Sonera Corporation on the F-Secure Board of Directors.

Data Fellows is a well-known company name in Finland, however the company’s F-Secure brand, is more acknowledged internationally. The company’s new name, F-Secure Corporation, is designed to better capture the key attributes of the company’s core business –integrated solutions for enterprise security– and to further build up the current success of its F-Secure brand and products. The Company's domicile remains in Espoo, Finland.

New Member of the Board, Kaj-Erik Relander (37) is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sonera Corporation. On 1st January 2000, he will start as Director of Sonera’s Mobile&Media Business Unit.

Relander brings to F-Secure an in-depth understanding of the Internet Service Provision business as well as Teleoperating, which are important in developing F-Secure's Security as a Service™ business. Kaj-Erik Relander is the second non- F-Secure Member of the Board appointed, along with Nokia-based Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo.
