F-Secure North American Organizational Changes

Helsinki, Finland - July 20, 2001

F-Secure Corporation announces that Chris Vargas will resign from his role as President of F-Secure Inc, effective Sep 30th. Vargas joined F-Secure in 1999 and has since been responsible for developing and expanding their North American operations. Vargas will continue to support the company as a member of the board of directors.

Assuming leadership responsibility for North American operations is Mike Devere as Vice President, North America. Devere, who has 20+ years of experience in the IT industry, joined F-Secure in August 2000 as VP, North America sales, and has since March 2001 been fully responsible for the North American operations. He will continue to report to the Chief Operating Officer, Kimmo Alkio.

"However, among his many achievements, few stand out as strongly as the great team he has built in North America.
