Kimmo Alkio appointed COO of F-Secure Corporation

Helsinki, Finland - June 18, 2001

Mr. Kimmo Alkio has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of F-Secure Corporation. His responsibilities include Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Advocacy. The appointment is effective as of today.

Mr. Alkio has worked as CEO of the Group’s subsidiary, F-Secure Online Solutions (F-SOS), since August 2000. Before that he has functioned in senior management positions in sales, marketing and business operations for Compaq/Digital’s EMEA and global organisations.

This enables us to fully benefit from his valuable experience on the Group level.”

Mr. Olli Heinonen will continue as CEO (acting) of F-Secure Online Solutions. He was previously responsible for Finance and HR in the same company. The strategy and objectives of F-SOS remain unchanged.
