F-Secure Anti-Virus "Editor's Choice" of TKLabs in Finland

Espoo, Finland - January 11, 2001

F-Secure, a leading provider of centrally-managed, widely distributed security solutions, today announced that their anti-virus software F-Secure Anti-Virus Total Suite 5.0 was named "Editor's Choice" by TKLabs of Finland.

The criteria for the tests included ease of updating, manuals and guidelines as well as the usability and manageability of the detection and disinfection as well as management software. The tests showed that F-Secure Anti-Virus Total Suite 5.0 software detects malware most reliably due to its multiple search engines. The software is easy to use and malware, when found, can be simply removed by the end-user. The work of the support function is made easier as the advice can be given over the phone.

F-Secure Anti-Virus Total Suite 5.0 is a comprehensive anti-virus solution, which contains the most important anti-virus programs needed by a corporation. Total Suite protects workstations, servers, mail systems and firewalls. This software package is managed through the F-Secure Policy Manager concept, which is also used to manage other F-Secure products.

"The test results from Tietokone TKLabs prove once again that F-Secure is in the forefront of anti-virus technology," says Mikko Hypponen, Manager of Anti-Virus Research at F-Secure. "It is a pleasure to note that our efforts to secure the data in corporations and develop the manageability have succeeded so well."
