Espoo, Finland - November 27, 2000

F-Secure, a leader in centrally managed security solutions for the mobile, distributed enterprise, today announced that it has been selected to play a key role in Compaq Computers' Wireless Center in Stockholm, which opens today.

The centre, which targets large corporate customers and business partners, will play a key role in the ongoing development and delivery of Compaq's wireless and mobile Internet strategy. ShowcasingCompaq's end-to-end wireless capabilities - solutions, services and products - the center will be instrumental both in driving EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Africa) wireless requirements for product development and in building a worldwide community which is expert in mobile solutions and technology.

The wireless initiative will engage between 300 and 400 Compaq specialists. The centre is already hosting customer visits and will engage with thousands of customer and partner personnel over the coming year through a mix of seminars, demonstration tours and customised workshops. F-Secure's contribution to Compaq's Wireless Center is to provide best of breed, proven security solutions for today's increasingly mobile corporate environment, on devices ranging from laptops, servers and PCs to mobile phones and PDAs. Increasing wireless Internet connectivity creates a greater need for always-on security and central management at the corporate level, measures which are at the forefront of F-Secure's wireless security competence.

"Compaq Wireless Center is an ideal place to demonstrate F-Secure's products in real life situations for key customers and end-users. F-Secure sees that content security issues will be of increasing concern in the evolving wireless working environment in the near future", said Ilkka Starck, Vice President and General Manager of F-Secure Corporation's Wireless Business Unit.
