F-Secure delivers virus scanning software to Concert's global Internet security and VPN solution

F-Secure Corporation, [HEX: FSC], a leading provider of security for mobile, distributed enterprises, announced that Concert, a joint venture between AT&T and British Telecom, has chosen F-Secure Security as a Service (TM) concept to provide managed anti-virus scanning as a leased service to their customers s a part of Concert IP Secure.This service extends the capabilities of Concert IP Extra, the company's suite of Internet security and VPN solutions for global customers, launched in July.

Concert IP Secure results from the company's established and new partnerships with the security industry's leading vendors including Check Point, Intrusion.com, surfCONTROL and F-Secure integrating their best-of-breed capabilities into an advanced suite of services fully managed by Concert.

Concert IP Secure can be used to build IPSec VPNs (virtual private networks) with encrypted "tunnels" for transferring private information over the Internet - between corporate firewalls, to remote dial users or to business affiliates and extranet partners. Options such as F-Secure's virus scanning software is available via monthly unbundled pricing.
