F-Secure's products highly rated by University of Hamburg VTC

F-Secure Anti-Virus for NT only "perfect" product for NT

Espoo, Finland - June 21, 2000

F-Secure, a leading developer of data security solutions, has been named an "Excellent AV Product" in the VTC scanner tests conducted by the Virus Test Center Hamburg, a well-known institution for testing anti-virus programs for virus detection and disinfection rates.

During the year 2000, the Virus Test Center in Hamburg has carried out virus tests in February and in April. F-Secure was the only Anti-Virus for NT product to reach 100% detection rate for both file and macro viruses, both "full zoo" and "in-the-wild". F-Secure also scored "Perfect" in many of the other tests. Altogether, F-Secure was among the top three anti-virus products and was named "Excellent".

The VTC tests include dozens of categories, based on detecting different types of viruses under different operating systems.
