Data Fellows Permitted to Market Cryptography Products in France

Espoo, Finland, October 1, 1999. - Data Fellows, a leading provider of centrally-managed, widely distributed security solutions, today announced it has obtained the authorization to distribute its data encryption products using 128 bit algorithms in the French market. The authorization was given by SCSSI (Service central de la sécurité des systèmes d'informations), an agency that is responsible for regulation of the use of cryptosystems in France.

Data Fellows already has a strong foothold in the French market with its F-Secure Anti-Virus product line. The new certification enables Data Fellows to start marketing its award-winning line of crypto products which were previously unavailable to the French market, including:

F-Secure SSH, the standard for secure connections.
F-Secure FileCrypto, centrally managed file encryption;
F-Secure VPN+, end-to-end network defense;
