F-PROT Professional version 3.0 for ultimate protection against viruses

Data Fellows, a leader in computer security, announced today at CeBIT’97 F-PROT Professional version 3.0, the new generation of the award winning F-PROT Professional anti-virus product family. A host of new valuable features have been added to the new 16 and 32 bit versions of F-PROT Professional making the Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and Windows NT products even easier to administer centrally, install and update over any network and improving the award winning virus detection and removal capabilities of the product family. With this release, available at the end of March, F-PROT Professional continues to lead and set the standards that others follow.

While creating the new generation of the F-PROT Professional products Data Fellows has taken care to preserve the investment that current F-PROT users have made in customizing their F-PROT installation, automating the virus detection and learning to use the product. The 3.0 version will install automatically on top of an existing installation and use all the existing settings. Installations are easy to automate even in large networks.
