F-Secure, the leading Internet security service company,
recently announced that it partners with Australia's second largest
broadband carrier Optus to offer residential and small business
customers F-Secure’s PC protection service. Optus is the first
Australian Internet Service Provider (ISP) to offer security as a

Mark Mulder, General Manager, Content and Portals, Optus
Consumer, says, "Optus is pleased to be partnering with F-Secure to
offer Optus Internet Security Suite to its customers. The
partnership enables Optus to provide a broadband connection that is
safe and secure from viruses, hackers and other Internet nasties.
We are offering this service until May 2008 free to all Optus
Broadband customers for the first twelve months."
"Security-as-a-Service allows ISPs to strengthen customer
loyalty, attract new customers and generate new revenue streams
from consumer security services such as parental control and spam
filtering," Jari Heinonen, Vice President, F-Secure APAC, says. "We
are happy to see major players like Optus take security very
seriously", he continued.
F-Secure is the clear leader in offering the
