F-Secure acquires Rommon Oy

Helsinki, Finland - November 30, 2005

F-Secure Corporation has acquired ROMmon Oy, a Finnish company that provides network level malicious traffic control solutions for ISPs.

ROMmon’s network-level appliance is targeted against network anomalies that typically cause bandwidth disruption, loss of revenue to ISPs and a large number of support calls.

ROMmon is presently the technology leader in their segment and already boasts a large client base in Finland. About 50% of broadband users in Finland are protected today by ROMmon’s solutions. ROMmon has been in business since 2001 and has shown profitable growth. It currently employs four persons.

ROMmon’s technology strengthens F-Secure’s offering to the ISP customer segment.

The acquisition is paid partly with a directed share issue and partly with cash. The purchase price was not disclosed.
