F-Secure has concluded personnel negotiations

Helsinki, Finland - August 14, 2003

F-Secure Corporation has concluded the personnel negotiations according to the Finnish Labour Statute. The negotiations are based on the negotiation proposal made by F-Secure on August 6, 2003. As a result, the number of personnel will be reduced by 14 persons and 4 persons will continue as part-time employees.

The company believes this will generate cost-savings of some EUR 0.2 million per quarter. The impact of the actions taken will materialize in full at the beginning of 2004.
