Preinformation concerning F-Secure Group's Q2 revenue and expenses

Helsinki, Finland - July 1, 2002

It is expected that F-Secure Group's revenue for Q2 will be lower than earlier estimated. The final channel partner sales reports for Q2 will be received during July, while according to the latest outlook it is most probable that F-Secure Group's revenue will be below the lower end of the earlier expected revenue range. Current revenue range is estimated to be between 8.7 - 9.5 million euros.

Sales challenges during Q2 have related especially to the North American market, encryption products and the large enterprise customer segment.

While revenue is expected to be lower than previously estimated the Group has managed to adjust its expenses downward. The Group's fixed expenses is estimated to be below 10.0 million euros in Q2.

F-Secure Group's quarterly report for Q2 will be published on August 6, 2002.
