NEW CHAIRMAN FOR F-SECURE'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Espoo, Finland - January 23, 2001

The Board of Directors of F-Secure Corporation has elected Mr. Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo Chairman of the Board. He is a Board member since November 1999. The composition of the Board remains the same. The other members are Kaj-Erik Relander, Jari Puhakka, Chris Vargas and Risto Siilasmaa. Ari Hyppönen continues as a deputy member.
